The Quality Assurance (QA) team is a critical function within the Internal Audit (IA) division that drives key improvement initiatives as a result of quality assurance reviews (QAR) and other assessments performed based on identified issues, industry trends, and executive requests. The Quality Assurance Supervisor will execute QARs over audits and other IA activities to evaluate the sound application of risk-based auditing in conformance with internal policies and professional standards. He/she will report on QAR findings and share results with IA leadership and professional staff.

Your Work Falls into Two Primary Categories:

Quality Assurance Review
  • Execute assigned QARs and focused reviews
  • Document QA work in line with audit documentation standards
  • Provide practical, innovative, and value-added solutions to identified issues
  • Draft quality QA reports and present results to project team and IA leadership

Training & Lessons Learned Development
  • Identify issues and opportunities for continuous improvement that demonstrate insightful analysis and sound audit judgment
  • Review internal and external assessments to identify broad themes or trends
  • Provide training and coaching based on quality assurance findings, trends, and policy changes


  • Typically has 6+ years of combined experience in auditing and quality assurance review
  • College degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degrees preferred
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CFA)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
