Responsibilities

  • Reporting represents a synopsized integration of the assessments provided by each assigned DCMA functional expert.R
  • The periodic report identifies program risks and issues with potential alternative courses of action as warranted.
  • The customer strongly relies and acts upon the content and programmatic recommendations contained in the report.
  • Follows up with the program office and/or contractors to ensure maximum performance improvements are realized from DCMA findings or recommendations.
  • Serves as Program Integrator (PI) of an acquisition program/system with less complexity than that typically associated with an OSD (AT/ L) defined Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP).
  • The PI is engaged at all critical phases of the program life-cycle.

QUALIFICATIONS: In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.

To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-11 . Specialized experience is defined as: which includes application of management practices related to multiple fields within contract management in order to evaluate program effectiveness. Apply DoD acquisition policies and guidance and DoD program priorities in order to determine resolutions to problems. Advise and analyze on program performance and objectives. Plan or coordinate program integration actions involving Major Defense Acquisition Programs. Develop and interpret technical and administrative guidance for execution and contract support.

Education can not be substituted for experience.
