Work Summary The primary duty of the Developer PeopleSoft Financials position is to provide functional production support of client s PeopleSoft 9.1 environment in a Tier II and Tier III manner. The consultant will be working with stakeholders via the client Service Desk and associated system to resolve issues and defects, implement minor enhancements, and coordinate all tasks pertaining to the maintenance of PeopleSoft 9.1. HeShe will follow Agile delivery methodology and will be able to foster an agile culture while maintaining operational excellence. The successful candidate has demonstrable leadership, management, and mentoring skills has expertise in the operation and support of PeopleSoft Financials and can analyze complex business problems and translate them into efficient technical solutions. The successful candidate will efficiently manage the operation, maintenance and minor enhancements of client s PeopleSoft 9.1 by leveraging shared technical resources between 9.1 operations and 9.2 upgrade project. HeShe will work with business partners from all areas and is skilled at building and managing relationships with various stakeholders both within Information Technology and from around the organization. Responsibilities Responsible for implementing and maintenance and minor enhancements for PeopleSoft 9.1 Leverage a technical staff shared between Operations and Upgrade to 9.2 Project. Report to the PeopleSoft Senior Manager who will primarily lead the upgrade project but will have oversight on Operational efficiencies as well. Continually research release notes to guide team on how best to use delivered system functionality Manage and collaborate with Technical staff on Security design and administration and end to end Disaster Recovery testing. Posses a highly motivated can-do-attitude. Maintain proficiency with PeopleTools technologies (including Application Engine, Component Interface, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, SQR), MS Office, Reporting Tools, SQLPlus, and other application tools. Assist Jr. Developers develop skills. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested. Requirements Must have PeopleSoft Operations support and development experience with strong project development skills Must be able to interact with stakeholders and prioritize tasks. Translate business needs into technical requirements. Must have 5 years of PeopleSoft hands on experience in administration, configuration, andor development. Must be versed with PeopleSoft 9.1 and People-tools 8.55+ Must be versed in the following applications - Phire and nVision. Experience in Multi Factor Authentication will be considered as a plus especially if the experience is with Appsian (Grey Heller). Must have eight years or more hands on experience with most if not all the following modules (GL, AR, BI, TR, PC, AM, AP, CA, PO, SCMT, ES) Experience with Oracle databases and knowledge of SQL Experience with Service Now ticketing system a nice to have Strong experience in most or all of the following components PeopleTools technologies (including Application Engine, Component Interface, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, SQR). Strong experience in MS Office, Reporting Tools, and other application tools. Knowledge of full development life cycle including requirements, fitgap analysis, design, development and testing. Engagement Type This is an onsite contract position for a min of 10 months with possibility of extension. Only candidates willing to work onsite will be considered. There is a possibility for telecommuting up 2 days a week when established.
