Let your imagination take flight supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). MIL currently holds several multi-year contracts with NAWCAD in the areas of Cyber, C5ISR, and Information Technology systems. Summary The MIL Corporation seeks a number of Weapons Systems Test Engineers to support a Federal Government client at our Southern Maryland location. The Weapons Systems Test Engineer will provide system test and evaluation support for weapons systems development, test analysis, system testing, general test support, software and hardware testing, configuration management, and system and software process improvement. The selected candidate will work within a test and evaluation team for a variety of Federal Government related programs. Key Duties Provide engineering expertise in weapons systems for system design and integration Apply general engineering principles to research, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and/or evaluate weapons systems Review and prepare engineering and technical analysis, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation Develop and utilize data processing tools to perform data analysis and provide data to customers Lead development of test procedures, test execution and instrumentation to collect required data within test plan constraints while working within unique test facilities and with unique test equipment Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering from an accredited course of study, ABET preferred 5 years professional engineering experience, in conducting test and evaluation including the full spectrum of hardware and software integration of a weapon system, including Government owned elements alongside Contractor provided software and hardware. An understanding of the underlying physics, including equations of motion and trajectory principles Clearance All applicants for this position must possess a Secret clearance.
