Ref ID: 04560-9502102867Classification: Director of TaxCompensation: $140000.00 to $175000.00 yearlyMy client is seeking a Director of Tax to join their team.Key responsibilities includes:* Responsible for all tax audits to include income, sales tax, property tax and VAT. * Manage IRS, state and global tax audits to achieve the best and most appropriate outcome for the Company.* Oversee all tax reporting matters in connection with annual filings including managing external auditor's requests * Act as liaison with external tax team, reviewing quarterly tax provisions to ensure adequate tax reserves have been established* Coordinate with external tax team and oversee the collection of information requested in processing all corporate federal and state tax compliance to ensure timely and accurate tax return filings and payments with all appropriate tax agencies. * Work closely with the accounting department to understand financial statement reporting for separate legal entities, including regular review of accounting system and financial statement information to ensure integrity of the reports for all tax entities. * Work closely with the Controller in order to provide in-house tax advice to other departments with respect to: acquisitions or dispositions, tax structuring, transfer pricing considerations of intercompany transactions, etc. * Coordinate and correspond with taxing authorities regarding various notices to ensure accurate regulatory records* Exercises thorough knowledge of corporate tax including tax research, compliance and consulting within an international taxation environment,* Assists with financial and tax due diligence of acquisitions and divestitures.* Lead tax planning including working with outside advisors and finance teams to develop and implement strategies and reduce risk* Prepare memos and any other documentation necessary to support the Company's planning and positions taken for tax purposes* Oversee and direct global income tax and VAT compliance* Work with outside providers as needed to develop planning and document and execute tax positions* Performs special projects for the Controller on an as needed basis If you are interested in this position, then please submit your resume in word format to Razia Zaman at Robert Half at [Click Here to Email Your Resume] or call Razia Zaman at Robert Half on 703-437-7723Key Responsibilities includes:1) CPA/MST/prior public accounting a strong preference2) Knowledge of federal/state/provision and international - this is a global job3) Have managed the outside firms If you are interested in this position, then please submit your resume in word format to Razia Zaman at Robert Half at [Click Here to Email Your Resume] or call Razia Zaman at Robert Half on 703-437-7723Robert Half Finance & Accounting, the world's leader in specialized financial staffing, provides exciting full-time opportunities in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more.
