Pay Schedule II, Grade 23, Regular Schedule: 40 hours per weekA vacancy exists in the Office of Budget and Finance, Division of Property Management. Examples of Duties: Under general supervision, performs journeyman level installation, repair, service, and maintenance to heating, air conditioning, refrigerating, and ventilating equipment and leads or instructs lesser skilled workers. Qualifications: Four years' experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, air conditioning, refrigerating, and ventilating equipmentplus at least two years of which included commercial and industrial units up to 450 tons capacity.Related education may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required experience.Licenses and CertificatesPossession of Type I and Type II EPA-approved refrigerant certification for technicians is required at the time of appointment. Possession of a valid driver's license equivalent to a noncommercial, class C Maryland driver's license is required at the time of appointment. Proof of Licenses, Certifications and EducationApplicants are required to submit proof of licenses, certifications and education beyond high school to meet the required and preferred qualifications of the position. Diplomas or transcripts must show the applicant's major field of study. Copies and unofficial transcripts are acceptable.
