MIL currently holds several multi-year contracts with NAWCAD in the areas of Cyber, C5ISR, and Information Technology systems.

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Cyber Center of Excellence Configuration Manager to support a Federal Government client at our Ft. Gordon, Georgia location. The CCoE configuration manager will provide on-site support of Information Technology and Audio Visual installations within the CCoE Military Construction (MILCON) program.

KEY DUTIES
  • Provides configuration management support to government program manager.
  • Assists with day-to-day operational aspects of the project concerning artifacts from CM software.
  • Assists with preparation and reviews deliverables prepared by team.
  • Identify, organize, and control software and hardware configuration changes.
  • Identify and coordinate processes for version management, system build, backup and recovery, archiving, and overall management of CM software.
  • Support and facilitate auditing and reporting.
  • Responsible for requirements traceability matrices and formulating requirements from customer inputs.
  • Maintain network diagrams, rack elevations, and equipment list of materials in CM database or other database solutions.
  • Author and then oversee baseline configurations for applications, software, and hardware assets.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
  • Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
  • Prepares and presents oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and
  • Prepare configuration documentations and maintain CM database.
  • Review and recommend improvements to existing CM processes.
  • Maintain data quality, integrity and security of CM database.
  • Schedule audits on CM database and assist in implementing audit recommendations.
  • Develop security guidelines to avoid unauthorized damage or usage of project items.
  • Work with configuration teams in development and enhancement of CM tools.
  • Assist in management, maintenance and automating of CM tools.
  • Oversee the delivery of IT installations in support of the program.
  • Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA/BS and 5 years of relevant experience
  • Configuration Management software suite certification is desired. Cameo No Magic is preferred.
  • Experience with strategic planning and IT infrastructure terms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and organization skills.
  • Great attention to detail and willingness to achieve project goals.
  • Ability to interface professionally with individuals at all levels, communicate effectively with project staff, other team members and/or stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint use.
