For additional company information, please visit www.mtsi-va.com httpwww.mtsi-va.com Responsibilities As a Sr. Billing Specialist with MTSI you will be responsible for Cradle to Grave billing and invoicing processes. You will play a key role in preparing complex invoices for various types of government contracts within MTSI's corporate Accounting department using various tools such as (Cost Plus, Cost Plus Fixed fee, Firm Fixed Price, TM, etc.) This position will be located at MTSI's Headquarters in Alexandria, VA. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to Prepare US Government invoices. Research contract status and communicate with program managers to create invoices for multiple contract types. Maintain direct correspondence with PMs and other POCs regarding subcontractor costs for billing purposes. Reconcile billings, revenue and unbilled amounts on a monthly basis. Assist with collection activity and resolution of outstanding invoices from past due accounts Interface with internal and external customers and work closely with the Contracts and Accounting personnel. Support various aspects of the monthly financial reporting to include analysis open billing detail. Qualifications 7+ years' of experience with government contract invoicing and applying FARAS regulations. Proficiency in Excel and Word Extensive knowledge of CostPoint billing 7.0 and cost modules (preferably 7.1) Understand FAR, CAS and GAAP Experience submitting invoices on customer systems such as WAWF. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business or related field such as Economics, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent work experience will be considered.
