Business Group Highlights Finance The Finance team is responsible for all aspects of the corporate finance organization, including strategy, implementation, enterprise risk management and internal audit, treasury, tax, procurement and investor relations. These functional areas enable corporate profitability and success by ensuring cost savings and efficiencies, sound reporting of results and accurate forecasts. Responsibilities Develops and implements fiscal operating budgets, policies and procedures. Develops, implements, and administers financial records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and government regulations through subordinate analysts. Develops and administers the cost accounting and financial management systems. Develops, monitors, and distributes to management essential financial operating budgets, reports and forecasts. Reviews annual and intermediate budgets periodically to analyze trends affecting budget needs. Prepares the budget calendar and plans the budget process. Responsible for negotiating allowable overhead with government. Responsible for the development of financial management data reflecting financial condition and operating results. Supervises the preparation of the consolidated financial statements and all filings for submission to the SEC. Reviews and analyzes monthly financial statements, and quarterly and annual financial data in support of the SEC filings, as well as preparation of internal management analyses. Coordinates the quarterly review and annual audit and consolidated financial statements with independent auditors. Develops the Company's funding base to secure present and future service delivery. Evaluates financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures, and investment activities, and makes recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, and other financial control functions. Qualifications Requires BABS with 10 years of experience with at least 4 years of management level responsibility. Incumbent has specialized knowledge in at least one area of expertise and a general knowledge in 1-2 other areas. About Perspecta What matters to our nation, is what matters to us.
