Business Group Highlights Defense The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions. Responsibilities ONR Code 30 Military Liaison Support - Assist in coordinating with ONR Code 30 leadership in the formation and execution of department strategy and interaction with the wider DOD community. - Assist in engaging senior military and civilian DOD leadership in matters pertaining to ONR Code 30 initiatives. - Provide subject matter insight to ONR Code 30 Department Head, Division Directors, and Program Officers in Science and Technology Program strategy pertaining to wider OPFOR, other DOD military agency, and National Policy involvement Qualifications -Possess a Bachelor-s degree from an accredited institution and ten (10) years of relevant work experience. Relevant work experience is defined as -Command andor staff experience with Operational Forces (OPFOR), HQMC, other service headquarters, Combatant Commands, Joint Staff an OSD -Demonstrated experience in Defense and National-level Security policy -Ten (10) years of demonstrated interactions and programmatic relationships with HQMC, the 3 Circles, the OPFOR andor other DoD military agencies -Demonstrated ability to work independently andor collaboratively -Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a small team environment -Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with government, military, academic technical experts, and senior-level government and military personnel Additional Considerations -Extensive military experience (10+ years) -Higher education levels than listed above -Experience within the Office of Naval Research, or other DoD components (HQMC, OPNAV, the 3 Circle, the OPFOR) About Perspecta What matters to our nation, is what matters to us.
