Responsibilities We at Perspecta are currently seeking an Operations Task Lead in Washington DC to support our government customer - Public Trust. The Operations Task Lead will be responsible for the following Utilizes one or in combination with the following Microsoft Azure tools System Center Configuration Manger (SCCM), Service Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Operations Management Suite (OMS). Supports Windows and Linux based environments for GOT, COTS, custom and mobile applications. Performs Operations Management oversight of application and database physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure. Leads Request for Service (RFS), Request for Change (RFC) intake, planning and execution using Remedy. Monitors Change Log maintenance, prioritization and workload planning. Does Project effort, risk and complexity estimating, schedule and task planning. Ensures security of application data, and patch level compliance of application, databases and host environments. Supports Change Control Board (CCB) procedures. Supports continuous deployment with DevOPS tools, planning and agile processes and thinking. Support ISO 20000 and ITIL processes. In addition, the Operations Task Lead will support the following activities Support ATS Administrative and change control procedures, ITIL and ISSO 2000 Microsoft Azure and or AWS frameworks, including PowerShell, Microsoft OPS tools System Center Configuration Manger (SCCM), Service Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Operations Management Suite (OMS). Impacts and Responds to service requests, incidents, and request for change tickets. Analyze resolve and document resolution to tickets. Work closely with business users and IT specialists, as well as with outside vendors, to plan, deploy, and maintain applications, databases, and VMware. Work closely with project teams and customers to adhere to security policies and processes. Develop, update, and maintain technical and operational documentation. Develop and document OM processes. Participate on project teams. Provide guidance and advice on improvements to environments, emerging technologies, and best practices. Plan, coordinate and execute OM activities Support Monthly Application and database COOP drills Qualifications Education and Experience Required Bachelors Degree 10 years relevant experience Public Trust About Perspecta What matters to our nation, is what matters to us.
