Responsibilities We at Perspecta are currently seeking a Senior Technical Lead to serve our government customer - Public Trust The Senior Technical Lead responsibilities include, but not limited to Utilizes industry best practices for all aspects of managing and maintaining the Web Services environment and be proficient with Web Technologies. Develops solutions to customer requests to improve customer efficiency and effectiveness. The use of content managementrecords management and tools may be required. Ensures the teams follows all government processes and complete deliverables in timely manner. Ensures implementation of and compliance with ISO 2000 Provides support for requirements, design, planning, and integration type activities within scope of the task order but with special skills for Web Technologies and development that the government is planning to implement. Monitors all stages of projects to ensure they are timely delivery of high quality solutions to the customer. Facilitates and coordinates responses to data calls and supports briefings to senior leadership. The Senior Technical Lead will be support the team in providing the following services Develop, implement and maintain quality digital services, multimedia and applications. Design and develop websites and pages conforming to user requirements and CWS established style guides. Integrate digital usability best practices and aesthetics into design to create digital services that are devoid of ambiguity and present a satisfying user experience. Develop and post multi-browserdevice compatible content to the digital services in a variety of formats as appropriate. Prepare web and digital content that meets or exceeds the accessibility standards for electronic and information technology as defined by the Access Board under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Test and evaluate all content to ensure it meets Section 508 guidelines for accessibility before publication to production systems. Use secure digital resource coding and development practices. Before deployment to production, and periodically thereafter, scan all code for known security-related vulnerabilities using government provided tools, and resolve discovered vulnerabilities. Support CWS in Certification and Accreditation of its sites and systems, and periodic security assessment. Implement and maintain a Customer Satisfaction tool. Implement and maintain cloud storage environment. Design, develop, maintain and administer MySQL and other backend databases in support of existing and new web sites and applications. Document all requests, requirements, development and the finished products. Document operational maintenance and publishing processes, site and system configurations and any changes to the same. All websites and applications, graphical designs, and documentation will become the property of the government. Implement, administer, update and operate the software and tools used in the development and publication of websites. Provide expertise in the selection of other supporting software products. Support CWS in understanding their customers- requirements, the technical feasibility of supporting the requirements, and assist CWS in responding to customer requests for modifications to existing sites, technical enhancements or requests for new websites. Comply with federally-mandated HSTS and HTTPS protocol on all domains for which CWS is responsible and provide assistance to DOJ components in their compliance with the requirements Management of security, ATOs and cloud hosting services (such as Azure) for the Web Services Understand and facilities network requirements and any other infrastructure requirements for the Web Services Use software for configuration management and tracking. Develop APIs for content integration across various digital resources. Maintain and refine processes that directly converts live-streaming content to a captioned video posted on the site. Monitor the CWS group email box and ticket tracking system for task assignments. Update the ticket tracking system as tasks move through different stages of completion, and produce regular or adhoc reports as required by CWS. Maintain and enhance search functionality on Department of Justice digital assets, including using Search.gov and Mindbreeze search appliance. Provide qualitative and quantitative data on DOJ digital resources using tools such as Google Analytics via the Digital Analytics Program (DAP). Produce and publish website usage statistics as specified by the Department, and develop analytical reports as needed. Develop content migration scripts to move content from static environments to open source CMS. Integrate third party tools, including Social Media and collaboration tools, into websites and digital resources Test all developed products in the development andor testing environments and migrate to production environment only upon receiving a satisfactory approval from CWS or its delegates. Provide training on new websites, services, and capabilities as required by CWS. This includes demonstrations and ongoing training as required by the CWS. Provide support for tasks that require coordination with the CWS hosting provider. Support implementation and adherence to ISO 20000 and ITIL processes. Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits. Help plan and participate in outreach and Drupal User Group meetings with components. Support the Social Media Working Group as needed. Support planning and oversee implementation of any projects the Enterprise Web Services team is engaged in. Support data calls relevant to Enterprise Web Services team. Conduct andor support user group meetings per government determined frequency. Support preparing briefing materials relevant to Web Services activities for leadership Support and manager migration of Drupal 7 sites to Drupal 8 and the US Web Design System. Support and manager migration of Drupal 8 sites to Drupal 9.
