Description REMOTETELEWORK position Cyber Security Analyst PrincipalNavy Validator Must have currentactive Navy Qualified Validator (NQV level II or Level III ) JOB DESCRIPTION Manage the Assessment and Authorizations (AA) under the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) for approximately 30 programs Covers all cybersecurity aspects including, but not limited to, identifying risks, validating the mitigation of plans of action, analyzing system designs, and assisting with AA issues that may prevent a system from receiving authorization. Participate in AA status meetings and facilitate moving systems toward a successful AA effort Conduct cybersecurity analysis in preparation for AA events by reviewing and validating all associated cybersecurity documentation and technical control Provide IT Investment Portfolio Management support for approximately 30 programs Conduct complete security assessment of technical and non-technical security features Perform required analysis of test results for accuracy and compliance ensuring traceability of all vulnerabilities and adherence to federal and RMF cybersecurity requirements Document residual risks and provide the cybersecurity risk analysis and mitigation determination results Produce risk assessment artifacts describing risks Effectively communicate the security posture of systems through designated reporting mechanism Collaborate with other team members in cybersecurity Excellent customer service and organization skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas multi-tasking, critical thinking and the ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately in a dynamic and fluid environment Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team Must have interpersonal and collaboration skills Qualifications TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree with 14+ yrs. of IT experience OR CISSP Certification with 18+ yrs. of IT experience 7+ years of relevant experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) AA activities .
