Accordingly, US Citizenship is required. Senior Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Annapolis Junction, MD. The selected candidate will have experience with integrating large systems, writing technical and non-technical requirements, effectively communicating with government customers and engineer team members. Roles and Responsibilities The candidate will have experience working across projects to gather requirements and integrate large systems. Once requirements are gathered, the Senior Systems Engineer will write user and technical level documentation to communicate the needs. The candidate will participate as a member of an 11 person team using the Agile SCRUM methodology with 3 week sprints. Basic Qualifications 10+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer supporting programs to develop and field large-scale systems. Experience effectively communicating with technical and non-technical colleagues and customers Recent experience as a lead contributor to technical and non-technical documentation including user stories, architecture diagrams, deployment and release documents Experience supporting full SDLC development including production deployments Experience writing requirements including system, performance, availability, scalability, and security Experience supporting relational and non-relational databases (eg, MySQL, Elasticsearch) Experience working in an Agile- SCRUM environment Experience supporting VMs in a LINUX and Windows environment Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence Working understanding of one or more languages (eg, Java, CC++, XML, JSON, HTML) Preferred Qualifications Experience using Elasticsearch Experience using Apache NiFi and data flows Basic understanding of version control tools (eg, Git, SVN) Basic understanding of build tools (eg, Maven, ANT) Basic understanding of Continuous integration tools (eg, Jenkins) About Tetra Concepts, a PSS Company Preferred Systems Solutions, Inc.
