Job Summary This position is located in the Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Information Systems (OIS), and Application Support Division III (ASDIII). The primary purpose of this position is to manage the DHS DIMSDatacap Application by upgrading, and customizing Datacap. Extensive working knowledge of Datacap components including Datacap Server, RuleRunner Services, TMWeb, Datacap Desktop Datacap Studio, Datacap FastApp Configuration and management of a high volume, high availability Datacap environment Understanding of the functionality of IBM Content Navigator and a demonstrated ability to customize panels in ICN Experience in mixed recognition solutions (OCRICROMR). Hands on working with IBM Datacap 8.0 or above. Design, development, implement and administer IBM Datacap Solutions which includes Analyze business requirements to create customizations. Develop Datacap user interfaces look up, task profiles, action libraries, custom actions, validations, verifications, workflows and exports to enterprise content management system for scanning solutions. Experience with configuring different client forms using OCR, ICR, barcode data extraction techniques. Experience with creating custom tasks (verify for indexing) in Datacap. Experience with creating and using lookups against RDBMS or a system via web service. Captures knowledge for solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Improves operations by conducting systems analyses to recommend changes in policies and procedures. Qualifications Hands on working with IBM Datacap 8.0 or above. Experience in customization and configuration of Datacap environment. Experience in integrating Datacap solutions with IBM Content Navigator and IBM FileNet. Experience in implementing documentsimage capture solutions with IBM Datacap. Development experience in Microsoft (C) .NET web services, JavaScript, other development languages for developing web based applications.
