PRO-Telligent, A Tetra Tech Company, needs a Radio Tech for State Dept. IRM (Bureau of Information Resource Management) work in Springfield, Virginia. Position DescriptionPerforms on a daily basis complex troubleshooting and a full range of radio communications technician assignments.Assist and performs ground based radio communications systems planning, system design, implementation, installation, support and problem solving.Installs, tests, and maintains base station, Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and multiplex equipment, both analog and digital, and point to point radio communications systems.Removes legacy equipment, and installation of new two-way LMR systems, cabling, and other communications equipment.Ensures RF frequencies and equipment are properly evaluated and approved according to state, federal or foreign industry standards.The Project Opportunities for worldwide travelUplifts/overtime available on a case-by-case basis depending on locations traveledFull benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401K match, paid time off)Requirements Secret Clearance (interim clearance okay)Radio Tech experienceAbility to travel internationallyIf this is not the position for you please feel free to refer anyone you know that has one of the above backgrounds to this listing.
