Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Electrical Fire Protection Engineer in Alexandria, VA.Electrical Fire Protection Engineer Compensation & BenefitsTotal compensation for the Electrical Fire Protection Engineer in Alexandria, VA is between $100,000 and $170,000 depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance. Recipient of several building awards Proven long term employee tenure Strong community relationships Competitive compensation Continuing education, work life balance Team approach for total solution to customer Interacting within different divisions of company High integrity and quality awareness Works safe in office and on job site environmentsElectrical Fire Protection Engineer Duties & Responsibilities Design mission critical, healthcare, infrastructure and heavy manufacturing Mentor and provide leadership and management to fire protection engineering department Responsible for quality and success of all work produced be the fire protection engineering department Develop realistic timelines, deliverables, and measures of success Coordinate plan reviews with field inspection activities to ensure the provisions of all applicable State and local fire safety laws, codes and regulations are enforced. Coordinates activities with others involved in fabrication, operation, application, or installation Consistently demonstrates professional skill sin structuring assigned activities, creativity, teamwork, communications, operational efficiencies, decision making, analyzing, and problem solving. Electrical Fire Protection Engineer Qualifications BS in Electrical or Fire Protection Engineering. Registered PE in either electrical or fire protection systems. Minimum 7 years of design management over fire alarm designers from design build applications to producing shop drawings from designed Life Safety Drawings.
