We specialize in the systems integration of fire, security, sound, voice and data systems. We are seeking an experienced, career-oriented individual in the Low Voltage industry. This position provides on-site management and supervision of turnkey installation projects which includes completion of projects on schedule, while meeting specifications and assuring customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include: Supervises employees including job detail and performance issues. Manages materials and equipment on site. Motivates and trains staff. Builds a team effort. Programming panels and systems, installation of system wiring, and terminating devices and panel wiring. Coordinating daily scheduling with the customer on-site. Daily communication with project manager. Maintaining drawings and/or schematics. Performing troubleshooting and service work. Truck inventory control. Responding to after hours service calls. Conducts quality assurance. Timely completion of associated documentation. Required Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience: Ability to obtain Maryland and Virginia security technician license. Knowledge of NFPA alarm system requirements and the ability to interpret code books and handbooks. Must maintain good driving record and be insurable with ARK Systems. Field electronic practical experience required. Possess either a technical school training/certification AND/or 3-5 years+ of related industry experience. Ability to use a Laptop computer w/ Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PC Anywhere, system application software, etc. Experience with construction tools, drills and other hand tools.
