Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts. Manage cost control within the system. Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position. Audit contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to monthly close process. Review various budgets and projections. Assist in the preparation of financial statements. Perform job costing and bank reconciliations. Utilize construction management software. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE: Bachelor's in Accounting 1-2 years of accounting experience Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, vlookup) Construction accounting experience a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills will be interacting with Project Managers
