The Qlik Sense Analyst will define, analyze and deliver reporting/analytical solutions with a focus on statistical and data visualization packages - primarily Qlik Sense and related tools. Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with researchers and organization decision makers to identify business needs and clarify management objectives with respect to input into report designs, reporting processes, reporting mechanisms, data structure, and data analysis. Work with leadership in gathering and clarifying needs, and develop detailed requirements for design, content and functionality of reports, methods and analysis for identified indicators. Working within a Data Team, design and develop automated reports, analyses tools, and interface designs. Generate standardized as well as custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations summarizing data that supports Health and Human Services, Billing, Fiscal, and Operations Departments. Analyze data characteristics, attributes, and trends. Review data reports for quality and consistency. Be able to explain variations in data. Prepare necessary data cleanup as it relates to improving the quality of data for research and operation purposes, and share findings with data owners to improve ongoing data quality. Ability to write code for data preparation, data abstraction, data analysis, and measuring calculations. Look for effective solutions to address data quality. Work with patient level data to understand data elements and improve functionality of data collection within the (EHR). Experience Required Familiarity with surveying methodologies and instruments common to healthcare Knowledge of medical terminology, strong analytical, verbal and written skills. Demonstrated experience with data management and ability to solve complex problems. Experience working with databases, large data sets, multiple data sources and complex data to create meaningful information. Experience working with patient level data sets such as claims data, EHR, etc. Strong technical skills: Microsoft Office; data visualization tools (QlikSense); data querying tools (Business Objects) Ability to write, maintain and contribute to business intelligence standards and policies. Demonstrated ability to interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and methods. Requires working with diverse stakeholders with multiple needs to convert data into highly usable reports, dashboards, and visualizations. Requires advanced professional skills to effectively communicate about complex data analyses, sometimes to audiences with limited knowledge of analytic methods. Requires advance knowledge and experience with SQL to gather and process data.
