Change Management Coordinator - Req1573Arlington, VAThis position requires a motivated individual with the ability to interface with senior clients, and communicate between the client and multiple internal teams. The candidate must be a highly effective communicator, demonstrating the ability to plan, design, and carry forward executive-level directions. The candidate must also demonstrate exemplary inter-personal skills and demonstrate the ability to build coalitions and collaborate with business, IT, and other stakeholders across the client organization. Candidates that demonstrate interest in ITIL processes is a plus. Candidates will also need to participate in the "On-Call Process" during after business hour situations and/or emergency situations during business hours that require immediate attention. Candidates will also be requested to support other ITIL functions such as Configuration, Patching, Problem, and Release Management as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Analyzes common user needs to determine functional requirements for client projects. * Responds to user requests for common system needs. * Performs technical assessments aimed at improving client systems. * Researches, identifies, and recommends resources required for task execution and completion. * Provides analysis and the development of business and functional requirements for small to mid-scale initiatives. * Serves as functional advisor to clients in assigned subject areas, recommends small to mid-scale functional changes, and identifies areas for further investigation. * Generates small to mid-scale recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other documents provided to senior-level client personnel. * Consults with clients to determine optimum requirements and design for assigned projects. * Identifies emerging relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes and systems. * Writes and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and provide inputs to training materials. * Performs functional testing of various systems. * Serves as client liaison and coordinates with sub-contractors, project stakeholders, and technical experts. * Benchmarks industry best practices to measure organization's position. * End-to-end ownership of assigned initiatives through implementation. * Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.Other Job Specific SkillsBusiness Process Design Communication Strategy & Management ITIL Foundations v3 certified or knowledge of ITIL Experience working with Change Management Knowledge of Change Control Board (CCB) or Change Advisory Board (CAB) Experience with creating user guides of varying formats (Word, PowerPoint, etc ) Knowledge of interacting with an ITSM tool (ie ServiceNow) Experience with reviewing the completeness & accuracy of data Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. 4-8 years of relevant experience. Certifications/LicensuresProfessional Certification or License in functional area of expertise preferred. Treasury Public Trust Clearance - PreferredU.S. Citizenship Required: YesReq1573#CJPost
