Job Description The Senior SharePoint Engineer/Administrator will be responsible for managing multiple on premise SharePoint Server 2010/2013 farms and the supporting Windows Server infrastructure. The individual will provide day to day system administration, monitoring, and support of the SharePoint infrastructure to ensure high availability of the collaborative environment. The candidate must demonstrate extensive experience with farm level SharePoint administration, Windows Server, and third-party tool integration with SharePoint Server. Key Tasks and Responsibilities * Use Central Administration and Windows PowerShell to administer SharePoint's service applications, services, permissions, and features * Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint Server farm architectures to support intranet, extranet, development, and test environment deployments * Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft software add-ins, third-party tools, and COTS development tools * Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) document for system administration tasks * Write PowerShell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks an aid in the configure of SharePoint * Support integration of SharePoint with Team Foundation Server (TFS) * Deploy and test patches to Windows Server operating systems * Restrict access to SharePoint object using Titus Metadata Security * Centralize monitoring of application and system logs with LOGbinder for SharePoint * Perform backups, migrations, and recovery of SharePoint objects using the out of box capabilities and AvePoint's DocAve6 * Harden systems based on federal guidelines Required Education & Experience BA or BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or other scientific or technical discipline or related field is desired.
