We have an exciting opportunity available for a Common Missile Warning System (CMWS) Electronics Technician for Camp Humphreys, South Korea. This position provides sustainment maintenance support to Aircraft Survivability Equipment (CMWS/ATRICM). This position can occasionally require the conduct of work in the outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions including frequent dust storms, and high temperatures - up to 130F degrees in the summer months.Role Responsibilities:Manage and administer all aspects of the CMWS systems installed on US Army regular and special operations tactical attack, cargo, utility aircraft to include helicopters, airplanes and jets.Troubleshoot, repair, issue and recovery of CMWS equipment.Research aircraft manuals both electronic and paper.Read and understand simplified and complex schematics.Use a multi-meter, ohm-meter, and other equipment to test and troubleshoot aircraft wiring, junction and relay boxes, and circuit breaker panels.Perform moderately complex technical functions such as set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models or specialized test equipment to support engineering activities.Perform troubleshooting, Fault Isolation, PMCS, and return to service of assigned systems and subsystems. Perform replacement and repair for all components associated with systems. Perform the calibration, operation, maintenance, modification, testing, troubleshooting and repair of systems of a highly complex nature.Execute set-up, collaboration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.Attain and maintain the following accounts: Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet), Classified handler and courier certification, Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT), The Army Maintenance Management System-Aviation (TAMMS-A), and Joint Technical Data Integration (JTDI).Operate a vehicle with manual gear shifted transmission.Lift for on-loading and off-loading multiple 35lbs to 100lbs outsized stackable transport containers onto a pick-up truck and or all-terrain vehicle (ATV).Build and band pallets of transport containers balanced for safe air transport.Provide Technical representation at meetings and consultations with clients or their representatives.Manages customer expectations as the on-site company representative. Individual will be the on-site point liaison for the customer.Maintain strong attention to detail.Maintain a positive attitude and work as a member of a cohesive team as well as independently.Interact with all levels of the organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful way. Multi-task efficiently and work in a fast pace environment on multiple projects.Provide controls and records as to the progress of work and maintenance of CMWS Assets within the AOR.Contacts and coordinates with internal departments for parts as required ensuring optimal equipment operation.Performs all other duties assignedMay be required to go TDY to multiple locations within SWA.The Ideal Candidate must have:Must have an active US Government SECRET clearance.High school diploma with 8 years Military Aircraft/Armament Experience (BS or equivalent preferred). One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education.Ability to pass and abide by the airfield drivers testing and licensing processes.Ability to take and pass the required security testing to attain a restricted area badge (RAB).Ability to safely navigate the flight line on foot and in a vehicle.Ability to work in a high noise environment.Ability to conduct bench-test using the Hot Mock-Up, HMU on Electro-Optical Missile Sensor, EOMS, sequencers, dispensers, payload modules, generation two and three electronic control unit, ECU, cable assembly, using diagnostic test equipment.Ability to lift and hold 20lb ECU up to 4-foot height overhead while on knees or in crouched position.Ability to lay on back and or crawl under and around the aircraft and near the landing gear with the engines, rotor and/or propeller systems turning.Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.Valid driver's license.Ability to remain in enclosed environment with low if any air flow in high heat or cold temperatures while troubleshooting.Ability to climb up and down on aircraft maintenance stands to reach installed components for inspection or troubleshooting.Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to meet internal paperwork requirements.Experience with RF test equipment.The Ideal Candidate will have:Minimum of three years Electronics/Communications technical experience.Two years in troubleshooting, fault finding, and repair of electronic equipment.8 years of avionics experience.Experience or ability operating a fork-lift.Experience working in hostile and austere environments.Experience in Customer support.Experience in stock control and asset management.Desirable Skills/Qualifications:Army Enlisted Military Occupation Specialty, MOS 15N, 15R or Air Force Navy, Marine or equivalents.Army Warrant Officer Military Occupation Specialty, MOS 151A, Navy, Marine or equivalents.4 or more years of experience in mechanical engineering or product design and development related to CMWS and ATIRCM.Demonstrated mastery of CMWS concepts, practices, and procedures.Experience in a forward-facing customer support role.Excellent customer presence as well as verbal and written communication skills, writing system documentation documents, and communications involving system installation and operation.
