These opportunities are short-term, long-term, and some have the potential to convert to full-time employment. As a Senior Accountant consultant, the types of projects you could work on include: - Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances- Assessing internal controls including risk assessment and reviews of risk areas - Assisting with budget preparation and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses- Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules - Maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts - Preparing financial statements - Executing monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables- Providing analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)- Assisting in coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors- Ad-hoc projects as necessaryWe are excited to work with Senior Accountants who have excellent analytical skills and enjoy working in a challenging and fast-paced environment, while representing Robert Half Management Resources. For consideration, please email your resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resume].The ideal interim Senior Accountant Consultant will have:- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's Degree or CPA is a plus)- 5 plus years of full cycle general ledger accounting experience, including reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, and financial statement preparation- Experience with ERP systems is a plus (PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Deltek)- Advanced Excel user (experience with macros, pivot tables, v-lookups)Our industry-leading alliances and broad client network provide you greater access to a variety of unique interim and long-term project opportunities that can keep you continuously engaged.
