GDIT is actively pursuing an immediate opportunity to continue the modernization of the Provider Enrollment Chain of Ownership System (PECOS) for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). If awarded, GDIT will implement CMSs new vision of PECOS modernization efforts, with a heavy emphasis on ensuring that the end-user experience for provider and administrators meets the high standards set by Medicare, Americas most popular healthcare brand. GDIT is seeking truly knowledgeable talent that understand the provider lifecycle, are knowledgeable with the data structures and are highly skilled in their technical execution.Position DescriptionThe User Engagement and Service Designer organizes and facilitates engagement activities, including end-user and customer engagement and PECOS 2.0 stakeholder collaboration through focus groups, user group meetings and regular email and social media communications. This person will also work with technical design leads to ensure that all UI designs, workflow and user interactions is created with the full scope of the users needs in mind.Roles and ResponsibilitiesOrganize and lead user engagement collaboration sessions to capture the full scope of user needs.Work closely with CMS and program leadership to prioritize and organize customer engagement activities.Lead teams of engagement specialists to ensure high-quality communications and understanding of user needs are captured and documented.Compliance with any Contract Statement of Work (SOW) or Deliverable RequirementsCoordinate, plan and lead training outreach and education documents and presentations.Collaborate with all levels of stakeholder, customer and project team to ensure technical solutiosn align to the full-scope of user needs.Stay Abreast of Program Integrity (PI) Initiatives for Medicare Provider Enrollment RequirementsFacilitate Communication Between End-User and GDIT Contract Management and/or StakeholdersResponds to Any Communication, Questions or Concerns in a Timely Manner Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering, or minimum of 7 years of experience Required Education, Experience, and SkillsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering, or minimum of 7 years of experience7 years of project management experience, supporting and driving continuous improvement.3 years of experience with corporate communications and Organizational Change Management. Desired Education, Experience, and SkillsUS citizen or a Green Card holderHealth Care Industry or Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) experience (3-5 yrs. preferred)Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiencesAbility to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authorityBilingual in English/SpanishExperience working in a Scrum or SAFe Agile environmentConditionsCandidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
