Overview Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer for a classified program to provide analysis, design, development, deployment, and lifecycle support for innovative hardware systems and applications across the enterprise. Responsibilities Work involves being able to develop end-to-end cost analysis for projects; ensure systems being developed comply with the enterprise technical architecture; help project and program teams prepare for CIO Project Management Program control gates; and keep senior management apprised of project or program status. Responsibilities include: Design, develop, evaluate and modify end-to-end enterprise IT communication systems through their entire life cycle. Evaluate projects and apply appropriate project management model (eg Spiral, Waterfall, Agile) for a given development effort Translate high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and work with multi-discipline engineering teams to develop lower level detailed requirements. Design interfaces and bring system elements together so they work as a whole. Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation. Generate system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures. Review test plans/procedures and ensure they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participate in the testing process to validate requirements. Qualifications Requires Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 5 - 8 years of experience, or a Master's and 3 to 5 years of experience .
