Responsibilities

  • Responsible for collecting functional specialist input; analyzing, synthesizing, and synopsizing this input; and providing an integrated DCMA assessment of the contractor's program performance and recommendations for future programmatic efforts.
  • Responsible for targeting areas that warrant independent assessment/evaluation based on risk assessments.
  • Offer written or informal Continuous Improvement Opportunities (CIO) to the program or contractors where a better way to execute the contract is evident, but a contract deficiency does not exist.
  • Identify and document contract deficiencies early in the program life-cycle so that they can be corrected to minimize downstream impacts.
  • Provide technical/programmatic advice and direction to the Supporting Program Integrators (SPIs) at lower tier CMOs in all contract administration/program management support matters relating to subcontractor/supplier CMOs.

QUALIFICATIONS: In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.

To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-11 . Specialized experience is defined as: experience applying organizational management principles and practices to include planning, programming, budgeting, guidelines and processes associated with acquisition program administration. Experience evaluating contractor procedures including quality and production, supply chain, engineering, earned value, and risk management to evaluate program effectiveness.

Education cannot be substituted for experience.

Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP): The Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP) provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
