Summary

About the Position:

PEO EIS is participating in an alternative personnel system known as the Acquisition Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). Among other features, the Demonstration Project replaced GS grade levels with occupational families and pay bands. The band NH-III is equal to the former GS-12 step 01 through GS-13 step 10. Management will set the selectee's pay for this position within the salary range consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee.

Responsibilities

  • Sevres as Management Analyst providing continued advice to management personnel for assigned organizations in the resolution of personnel actions.
  • Integrates efforts on actions and programs where joint functional effort is necessary to accomplish recruitment and enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with management on development of rating and ranking criteria and skills sets for Recruit/Fills.
  • Provide advisory services of business rules governing performance and pay pool management.
  • Advises panel members on program responsibilities, time lines, business rules and decision options.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: 1.) Experience involving the administration of various personnel processes and procedures to include retirement, awards, grievances and appraisals in accordance with federal regulatory guidance. 2.) Analyzing and implementing Army Acquisition Workforce (AAW) guidance to ensure agency compliance regarding personnel procedures. 3.) Utilizing the federal pay administration and acquisition demonstration pay guidance to ensure accuracy when establishing pay. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the federal service (NH-02 or GS-11).
