We embrace brilliance. We embrace independence. Join us. Responsibilities: Guidehouse increasingly supports Foreign Assistance program offices in the security sector within the Department of State. The lead financial analyst would be responsible for helping clients with budget formulation and execution activities. S/he will support the client in the full financial management life cycle of international security projects, including project budget planning, execution, monitoring, financial reconciliation, and close out. S/he will be responsible for overseeing the on-site team in execution of their daily task. Daily, on-site client interaction and support is required. The successful candidate is proactive and constantly thinking how he/she can more efficiently and effectively support his/her team and clients. Qualifications: Qualifications?Required: US Government ? Top Secret Clearance ? Master?s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field ? Minimum 6 or more years of work experience in process improvement, operations analysis, organizational policies and procedures, and financial management ? Experience with the Government budget cycle and various funding instruments (grants, Interagency agreements, fund cites, contracts) for Foreign Assistance ? Technical expertise to perform cost variance analysis and business operations studies ? Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills ? Project Management Professional certification and/or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Desired: ? Experience working in international security ? Experience at the Department of State or other agency supporting international programs on a scale of $70 million or above in annual funding ?
