The lead financial analyst would be responsible for helping clients with budget formulation and execution activities. S/he will support the client in the full financial management life cycle of international security projects, including project budget planning, execution, monitoring, financial reconciliation, and close out. S/he will be responsible for overseeing the on-site team in execution of their daily task. Daily, on-site client interaction and support is required. The successful candidate is proactive and constantly thinking how he/she can more efficiently and effectively support his/her team and clients. Qualifications: Qualifications?Required: US Government ? Top Secret Clearance ? Master?s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field ? Minimum 6 or more years of work experience in process improvement, operations analysis, organizational policies and procedures, and financial management ? Experience with the Government budget cycle and various funding instruments (grants, Interagency agreements, fund cites, contracts) for Foreign Assistance ? Technical expertise to perform cost variance analysis and business operations studies ? Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills ? Project Management Professional certification and/or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Desired: ? Experience working in international security ? Experience at the Department of State or other agency supporting international programs on a scale of $70 million or above in annual funding ?
