This Systems Engineer position is a key contributor to the maintenance and optimization of the client's network and wireless infrastructure. Apply as soon as possible!Your responsibilities- Partake in the design of information and operational support systems- Handle and check all installed systems and infrastructure- Keep an eye on and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, discern possible solutions, and concur with developers to put into practice those fixes- Test, maintain, install, and configure system management tools, operating systems, and application software- Manage redundancy strategies, security, and backup- Produce 2nd and 3rd level support- Record and keep custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks- In a proactive manner provide the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability- Coordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution- Applicants should have solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks- 7+ years of relevant experience - Applicants should have experience with virtualization and containerization - Candidates who have solid networking knowledge will be the best fit for this position - Applicants should have experience with automation software - Applicants should have solid scripting skills- Knowledge of Windows Azure- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office 365- Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Office 365- Adeptness in Cisco Routers- Cisco ASA experience highly desired- Microsoft Azure experience - It is preferred for applicants to have experience with monitoring systems - Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systemsTechnology doesn't change the world.
