Our client located in Washington DC is seeking to add a Construction Assistant Project Manager whose primary responsibility is to spearhead the planning and daily execution processes of construction projects.Must be experienced and successful with proper creation and vetting of submittals and RFI's, capable of reviewing and answering technical questions, cost estimating, scheduling, and providing quality control support. Must ensure work is performed as per plans and specifications and all work and changes are well documented. Capable of writing project performance and project financial update reports. The successful candidate shall be ▪ an excellent communicator, ▪ logical and analytical in thought, ▪ results driven, ▪ capable of building and maintaining positive and effective relationships with clients and subcontractors, ▪ promote and exemplify professional behavior, ▪ a self-starter, ▪ proactive in their duties and assignments, ▪ successful working with teams or independently, ▪ strives to exceed client expectations, ▪ and loves what they do Technology savvy with a working knowledge of Procore and essential MS Office Suite. A minimum of 3 years as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager in commercial construction. Work history in the federal and/or municipal sectors is advantageous. Experience with diverse federal projects a plus.
