The JIDO team is seeking a Joint Analysis Support Team (JAST) Intelligence Analyst to support JIDO activities at the Northern Virginia location.The Intelligence Analyst provides analytical support to the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization (JIDO) Attack-the-Network (AtN) Line of Operation. The JAST Intelligence Analyst serves on a unique, multi-discipline team assisting operational and tactical commanders, their staffs and their subordinate units with fusing operations and intelligence information in an effective, seamless process to enhance their effectiveness against threat networks that facilitate or employ Improvised Threat Devices. As a JAST Intelligence Analyst you will provide embedded and reach back support to Improvised Threat and C-IED efforts and operations executed by committed war fighting units and partners. Position requires minimum of 4-6 month deployment to hazardous duty locations each year.RESPONSIBILITIES:*Demonstrates analytic expertise to make recommendations for future products; anticipates customer intelligence needs through the proactive identification of intelligence gaps; and explores anomalies, new developments, and trends that could potentially impact and /or threaten client operational capabilities or intelligence requirements.*Facilitates all-source analysis relating to complex strategic assignments driven by client priorities.*Utilizes appropriate analytic tradecraft to yield judgments and assessments that offer value-added insights that extend beyond the most obvious connections.*Identifies intelligence gaps, evaluates information, conducts analysis, and produces intelligence products.*Provides analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability.*Prepares assessments of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations.*Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:*Up to 50% deployment annually to hostile and hazardous OCONUS locations.*Candidate must be able to meet USCENTCOM deployment requirements.BASIC REQUIREMENTS:*BS or equivalent + 3 yrs related experience, or Associates and 4 years' experience, or 6 years' experience.*At least 1 year of deployed experience within the CENTCOM AOR..*Willing to work rotating shifts.*Intelligence Analyst experience with geo-spatial, link-analysis, and data mining tools and Microsoft Office.*Active TS/SCI eligibility clearance.Highly desired:*Three years of experience in network analysis*/IC experience.*Understanding of Analyst Notebook and/or Palantir*Understanding of databases and geo-spatial tools.#cjobs#dicepost#gdpostAdditional Job DescriptionAdditional Job DescriptionFor more than 50 years, General Dynamics Information Technology has served as a trusted provider of information technology, systems engineering, training, and professional services to customers across federal, state, and local governments, and in the commercial sector.
