INSQ-CORP-VA-0005Overview Provide systems engineering and technical direction for system acquisition, development and integration. Systems engineering duties include a combination of substantially all of the following activities: Determining specifications Identifying and resolving interface problems Developing test requirements Evaluating test data Supervising design Technical direction duties include a combination of substantially all of the following activities: Developing work statements Determining functional and performance parameters Resolving technical controversies. In performing these activities, the System Engineering/Technical Advisor occupies a highly influential and responsible position in: Determining a system's basic concepts Preparing and furnishing complete specifications covering non-developmental items, to be used in a competitive acquisition. Preparing work statements to be used in competitively acquiring a system or services Required Qualifications Bachelor Degree in engineering, technical or other relevant emphasis area Ten (10) years of experience working in a System Engineering/System Integration capacity in support of Federal customers Demonstrated experience with acquisition sensitive engineering, cost benefit, and planning activities Demonstrated experience in development of technical specifications Demonstrated experience in developing comprehensive briefings on acquisition, engineering and integration topics for presentation to Senior Agency officials Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) Demonstrated experience working within a seamless Government and Contractor team developing acquisition plans and approaches pLSbXtEnpR
