As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design, integration, testing, and support of shipboard radio communications systems. You must be able to evaluate the defined performance metrics for each link in accordance with system requirements. Requirements for this position include:Bachelor of Science from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related disciplineAt least eight years of progressive experience in electrical/electronics engineering, which includes at least four years of experience performing engineering functions related to shipboard radio communications systemsExperience integrating shipboard communications systems supporting voice, video, and data applicationsDemonstrated knowledge of proper handling and utilization of Government Furnished Information (GFI), including but not limited to Cable Block Diagrams, Cable Running Sheets, Cable Installation/Interconnection Drawings, and Installation Requirements DrawingsSolid understanding of IP networking and RF theoryDemonstrated knowledge of military and commercial communications protocolsExperience with installing equipment in accordance with TEMPEST requirementsSolid analytic and problem-solving skillsWork collaboratively with government customers, contractors, and team membersStrong written and verbal communications skillsAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearanceMust be a US Citizen We offer an excellent salary and benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, education assistance, and performance-based bonuses.
