Raytheon is seeking a self-motivated candidate to join the Londinium program as a Configuration Management Technician (CMT) in the McLean, VA area. Our Londinium program supports a highly dynamic computing and networking environment providing expansive capabilities and technologies to a wide range of end users. The Configuration Management Technician will be a key member of the program and help promote successful business operations by documenting current information system hardware and software configurations. Other roles and responsibilities of the CMT may include, but are not limited to: Maintaining configuration baselines and system documentation Maintaining physical layout documentation (such as rack diagrams and floor plans) Tracking and documenting changes to managed baselines Creating and maintaining document and presentation templates in Word and Power Point Documenting and tracking software products and licensing information Providing status of all change requests (CRs), problem reports (PRs) and action items (AIs) until resolved Assisting with document control and version/release management Supporting engineering review board (ERB) and change control board (CCB) activities Attending technical exchange meetings (TEMs) and recording project/system requirements, meeting minutes and/or action Teaming with integrated product teams to review ERB/CCB presentations for quality and consistency in content arrangement Assisting with scheduling and coordination of ERB/CCB briefings Required Qualifications/Education Active TS/SCI with FS poly Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Power Point, Excel and Visio) Thorough understanding of configuration management fundamentals Demonstrated working with configuration management software applications Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer science, information systems, business, or equivalent experience Two (2) or more years total of relevant work experience, work experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
