Overview Peraton is seeking a Satellite Systems Engineer for a classified program to analyze, consult, and makes recommendations for specifying, acquiring, operating, and maintaining earth terminal satellite systems and satellite bandwidth. Responsibilities Responsibilities include: Design, develop, evaluate and modify end-to-end earth terminal satellite systems through their entire life cycle. T ranslate high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and work with multi-discipline engineering teams to develop lower level detailed requirements. Design interfaces and bring system elements together so they work as a whole. Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. Participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation. Generate system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures. Review test plans/procedures and ensure they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participate in the testing process to validate requirements. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Requires Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 5 - 8 years of experience, or a Master's and 3 to 5 years of experience. Working experience designing, developing, evaluating and modifying end-to-end earth terminal satellite systems through their entire life cycle. Current TS/SCI with poly clearance .
