Manager, Media Solutions Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group and a renowned company in Bethesda, MD have partnered together to find a Manager, Media Solutions for a long-term contract assignment. The Manager, Media Solutions will be responsible for managing various projects in support of the Global Paid Media Center of Excellence (COE) and PLUS digital media buying platform. This role will require a deep understanding of paid digital media, proven project management experience and the ability to manage multiple, fast-paced, projects at once; while working cross-functionally to drive project execution. The Manager, Media Solutions will be a proven self-starter with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Manager, Media Solutions Responsibilities:
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of departmental projects so that goals and/or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame.
  • Collaborates with external agencies and monitors program activities to ensure project tasks and deliverables are progressing, completed on time and meeting expectations.
  • Vets and documents all new partner activations within the digital media buying platform (PLUS) to ensure that all new partnerships meet platform expectations, including digital ad tracking and reporting attribution guidelines.
  • Supports PLUS platform communication and education needs, including email marketing, PowerPoint presentation creation and collateral development.
  • Provide product support for multiple Global Paid Media COE and PLUS platform stakeholders, managing campaign activation, product enhancement requests and additional program/platform needs as necessary.
  • Manages a series of technical platforms and ad programs, providing guidance to ensure continued efficiency, effectiveness and growth of capabilities, products and features.
  • Provides subject matter expertise for any requests or considerations involving the integration or use of new/existing technology to support the Global Paid Media COE and PLUS platform.
  • Provide reporting support for the PLUS platform, including data organization, pulling historical campaigns insights and tracking partner results over time; with the ability to communicate insights to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Communicate project timelines, status updates and launch announcements to internal and external stakeholders in a precise manner.
  • Leverage market and competitive knowledge to identify opportunities and drive media product and partner improvements.
  • Develop documentation such as presentations and status reports for audiences from executive level to project team and regional teams.
Manager, Media Solutions Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • BS/BA degree required in a related field.
  • 4+ years' experience in similar position or having equivalent kind of skills experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced digital advertising environment; and ability to make data-based decisions.
  • Deep understanding of digital advertising and a passion for digital media.
  • Ability to successfully manage, build relationships, and work through a team of 20+ cross-functional professionals (internally and externally).
  • Very strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Very detail oriented and organized.
  • Desire to stay current on evolving industry trends.
  • Managing and directing interactive agencies. Past agency experiences a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of online measurement, tracking methods and analysis.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to take projects and efforts through to successful execution.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and think creatively.
  • Travel and/or retail industry experience is a plus.
