Strategic Communications Consultant
Key Role:

Develop, disseminate, and coordinate communication-related activities, including content development and maintenance support for public websites and social media platforms. Prepare publication materials, employee communications, newsletters, bulletins, and informational materials for internal and external audiences. Work with senior team members and the client to monitor congressional actions and draft direct communication, when necessary. Lead research efforts to prepare client documents and work with senior team member to finalize. Support the public affairs lead with research and document drafting tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Micro sof t Office suite, including Word

-Experience in the energy ind us try

-Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail

-Ability to edit and perform quality control of reports, presentations, directives, and correspondence

-BA or BS degree in Communications, Marketing, or Political Science

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with legislative or trade associations

-Experience in a consulting environment

-Ability to display a proactive and outgoing personality

-Ability to exhibit flexibility and adaptability and work in a collaborative team environment

-Possession of excellent client service skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
