Civil Engineer - Annandale, VA (5 job openings) - Perform engineering computations & design of storm sewer systems, incl. profiling. Perform engineering computations & design of water & sanitary sewer systems, incl. profiling. Prep erosion & sediment control computations & plans. Coord. w/other design engineers, architects, owners & county staff on site plan related items. Prep resid., comm. & public improvement site plans. Create CAD drawings & CAD related data for site plans. Assist the Project Manager in BMP/SWM computations, detailed grading plans & other complex tasks as directed by the Project Manager. Perform pavement design computations, zoning computations, sight distance plans & other misc. computations for site plan submission. Prep county & state permit submittals & coordinate with contractor & owner on construction documents. Perform site work quantity estimates, incl. earthwork estimates. Quality control check/review site plans to assure quality & consistency. Address county comments on site plans & other standard county documents. M-F: 8am-5pm, $64,501/yr.
