Title : Engineering Technician Location : Sterling, VA Duration : 6 Months(Contract to Hire) Job Description: Previous harness work, able to pay attention to detail, able to work at least 40hrs a week. Prefer candidates with harness exp in the aviation or space world. 8739.4 or IBCWHMA620 Cert preferred. Candidates with Ethernet cable, residential electrical, or low voltage exp will not be relevant. The team is Will be part of a team that consists of about 12 techs and a Product Lead. May work on the shop floor or clean room environment. Assemble and rest cable harness and associated electrical products to Client standards. Typical action includes building a wire list, building w/ mock-ups, crimping, soldering, termination, potting, routing, and installing. Must be capable of supporting the Manufacturing Supervisor w/ some floor duties. Ensure the quality of the hardware is maintained, company procedures are followed, staff performance is efficient, and equipment continues to operate safely. Provide regular communication to internal customers/departments on schedule management, status, and technical matters. During the interview will ask about tools used and inspection criteria.
