MIL currently holds several multi-year contracts with NAWCAD in the areas of Cyber, C5ISR, and Information Technology systems.

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer, Senior to support a Federal Government client at our Lexington Park, MD location.

Key Duties
  • Lead, manage and coordinate Cybersecurity through all phases of the system development life cycle, including planning, requirements analysis, design, development, testing and evaluation, and implementation for Naval Aviation weapons systems and programs
  • Perform analysis of complex functions and requirements
  • Assess cyber threats to Naval Aviation weapons systems; utilizing Cyber Risk Assessment (CRA) and CYBERSAFE processes
  • Ensure conformance with appropriate and applicable policies and regulations
  • Support development of logical and physical solutions for the implementation of Cybersecurity
  • Review and prepare documents and presentations

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a scientific or mathematics-intensive discipline; 2 years of relevant experience with an Associate's degree will be considered the equivalent of a Bachelor's; 4 years of relevant experience will be considered equivalent to a Bachelor's
  • 10 years in a related field leading, managing and coordinating Cybersecurity through all phases of the system development life cycle, including planning, requirements analysis, design, development, testing and evaluation, and implementation
  • Familiarity with a multitude of current Naval aircraft weapons systems

Clearance
All applicants for this position must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance; please note that the clearance process takes into account financial background aspects.
