The University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business is seeking a well-qualified Marketing Automation Coordinator for the Office of Smith IT to join the Online Master’s Programs Office. One of 13 schools and colleges located on the University of Maryland, College Park campus, the Smith School is a recognized leader in management research and education for the global economy. The Marketing Automation Coordinator is a new position at the Smith School responsible for the implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud – an enterprise-wide marketing automation platform. This position supports a critical and strategic initiative for the Smith School. This position will support Management/User Support training, Content/Subscriber Management, Email Performance Strategy, Governance and other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required with one to three years of experience using marketing automation tools and one to three years of using Salesforce; Experience working in a higher education setting required. Outstanding interpersonal, public speaking, and communication skills; Curious and self-directed learner; Uncompromising attention to detail and quality; Flexibility and tolerance for a high level of ambiguity. Willingness to work closely with users to solve simple and complex problems.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification preferred; Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification preferred.
