Principal Product Marketing Manager, IaaS-19000WTE No Visa Sponsorship is available for this position. The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Product Marketing team is looking to hire a Principal Product Marketing Manager to help build and execute on our messaging, positioning, collateral, and go to market efforts relative to Oracle IaaS. This role requires product expertise, business and marketing savviness, and close collaboration with stakeholders across marketing, product development and field sales teams. Key responsibilities include: * Strategic: * Lead and manage IaaS GTM activities within the context of the overall corporate plan to meet company objectives * Define and convey product positioning, messaging and differentiators both internally and to the market * Create core IaaS content demand gen and awareness * Support successful product releases based on corporate priorities Sales enablement: * Create sales enablement plans and develop the associated sales tools to align with the buying process including: * Sales training and customer facing presentations, battle cards, elevator pitches, call scripts and additional sales and demand gen collateral Competitive: * As the IaaS compete lead, your key responsibilities will include: * Constantly monitoring market trends and the competitive landscape * Analyzing competitors' strategy, including a deep understanding of competitors' product portfolios down to feature level expertise * Defining, creating and integrating compete content into sales enablement and GTM efforts Website: * Champion website content and partner with digital and product teams to implement Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor degree with 6+ years in high-tech product marketing roles in cloud, hosting and/or enterprise software, or high-tech outbound product management experience. 2+ years in cloud or cloud ecosystem preferred * The ability to work across teams (engineering, marketing, sales and services) to ensure we create the right plays and content, drive the right go to market activities, and achieve clarity in the results they are generating on a worldwide scale * Deep knowledge of the public cloud market as a whole, specific knowledge of competing public cloud offers (eg AWS, Azure, GCP), and Oracle's Cloud offerings. Hands-on experience with cloud technology and experience or desire to learn and go deep into our competitors' products and services * Demonstrated bias for action and driving results, with understanding that activity alone does not equal results * Success in leading cross-functional projects within matrixed organizations. * Ability to communicate technical information in a simplified and concise manner for various audiences * Creative thinker, ability to multi-task, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, positive attitude, energetic, team player. Additional preferred skills: * Continuously updated knowledge of key issues in the industry * Exudes a real passion for product marketing excellence. * Must be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * A sense of humor. The candidate should also have: * BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Marketing or related field * MBA (or equivalent in related work experience) Travel Component: Minimal. As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources.
