Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with a dynamic company who provides Human Resources Consulting Services to small and medium businesses. We are seeking a Human Resources Administrative Assistant to support all basic HR functions and assist in documentation management and communications with our clients. We are looking for someone who is service-minded, providing valuable assistance to everyone on our team. This role is dynamic in nature; empowered to continue evolving as areas of influence grow. Duties and responsibilities will be as follows but not limited to:

  • Maintaining client and work site employee relations on a day-to-day basis for assigned PEO clients.
  • Provide high quality HR services that are responsive, accurate, and professional.
  • Oversee all HR-related reports which may include the following:
      • New employee on-boarding
      • Employee handbooks
      • COBRA compliance
      • FMLA compliance
      • Federal and State reports.
      • Benefits
  • Ensure that clients are compliant with all employment laws
  • Update policies and procedures
  • Update client and employee information in HRIS
  • Handle all unemployment related correspondence and hearings and communicate with clients

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • 1 to 3 years of Human Resources related experience (or recent college graduates)
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, and time management skill
