Building Maintenance - Chief Engineer / Plumbing License: 

Residential mid-rise cooperative community in Northwest Washington DC, situated on 5 areas, is looking to fill an open position for their Chief Engineer.  All experienced and qualified candidates must be licensed plumbers, who can take on the energetic role of managing the Maintenance Department for seven (7) historical buildings, as well as performing plumbing repairs.  Experienced individuals are required to have at least five (5) years of plumbing experience and hold a current DC Plumber Licensed.  Candidates who also have their Class 3 Boiler Licenses is a plus, but is not a requirement.  Qualified candidates will need to possess the skills and experience of managing multiple projects at one time with contractors, and staff, and residents. Experienced candidates will be able to write and speak English in a prolific manner and provide written or oral reports upon request.  Attendance of a monthly meeting and report are required.  Experienced candidates should be familiar with BuildingLink, as well as Microsoft Office.
