Meeting and Event ManagerJob DescriptionThe Meeting and Event Manager will have a broad range of responsibilities including the sourcing, contracting and planning of events as well as overseeing critical processes and projects that cut across multiple brands within the CoStar Group. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, energetic, creative and detailed focused, who will report directly to the Director of Events. This position is an exciting opportunity for a real go-getter who can work in a matrixed environment and works quickly and efficiently on several projects at one time. This candidate should be highly motivated, entrepreneurial, service-minded professional and demonstrate strong time management and communication skills. This position will partner closely with sales, marketing and other departments ensure every event is handled flawlessly, on budget and professionally. Role Overview/Responsibilities:Assist in the planning and execution of the production of events, meetings and tradeshows from conception to completion including venue selection/sourcing, content and agenda development, leading planning calls/meetings along with weekly updates, on-going communications, theme development, contract negotiation, booking talent, AV management, marketing promotional materials, data and ROI reporting, attendee registration websites, catering/F&B, decor, hotel accommodations, staffing coordination, and on-site event logistics.Manage new vendor approval process including sourcing a RFP when needed.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to execute events including Marketing, Facilities, IT, Legal, Procurement, Accounting and others as appropriate.Organize and lead team collaboration meetings with insightful, prepared documents, along with key follow-up on deadlines and responsibilities.Maintain exemplary relationships with external vendors, identifying appropriate new business relationships when needed.Create, track and manage event budgets closely, producing post-event budget and reports.Track event marketing metrics and create a standard ROI benchmarking processes.Manage multi-projects simultaneously with precision and attention to detail while continually finding ways to improve processes to produce higher quality and more effective results.Assist in organizing events calendar. Manage booth properties and inventory. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field and/or equivalent experience.2 to 4 years of related event experience.25% travel required. Highest proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, notably Microsoft Excel and PowerPointCMP certification and experience with Cvent a plusMeticulous attention to detail and superior organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at same time with demonstrated experience in consistently delivering high quality results.Team player who collaborates and can easily pivot to assist other projects as needed.Proven ability to adapt to fast pace and ever changing environment. Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure, delivering on last minute requests and remain detailed oriented.Ability to manage complex and fast-changing program elements and prioritize effectively in response.Effective negotiation skills.Flexibility and ability to push through indecision and ambiguity to deliver results.Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force to move objects/boxes.Ability and willingness to work extended hours and varying work schedules.CoStar Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer; we maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing
