Freddie Mac's Investments & Capital Markets Division is currently seeking a Financial Engineering Technical Lead who will provide technical leadership, willing to be hands on. The ideal candidate will have expert technical hands on background, analytical mindset and be passionate with implementing quantitative models, providing technical leadership and continuously improve existing solutions.

Your Work Falls into One Primary Category:

Design and Implement
  • Design and Implement high quality credit/economic model application frameworks and use those frameworks to build end to end applications
  • Actively investigating to improve quality of solution either new or existing
  • Customer satisfaction is high priority
  • Ability to evaluate and propose new relevant technologies
  • Hands on day to day lead developer role i.e. mostly writing code and development related activities


Qualifications

Qualifications
  • 8 + years of related end-to-end software development experience
  • College Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Expert programming skills in Java preferably 1.8 or higher and related application development stack
  • Practical experience with TDD, Continuous Integration and good exposure to technology stack for DevOps
  • Solid understanding and practical experience of latest web technologies
  • Good team player and individual contributor
