Senior Application Engineer - TWO (2) POSITIONS AVAILABLE in Arlington, VA to dvlp & deploy w/ min direction, Intrnt-bsd sftwr apps basd on usr reqs. Duties: gather project reqs; dsign, modify, dvlp, write & implmnt sftwr apps; oversee sftwr systm test & validation, documntatn & cert of sftwre; employ J2EE; create product docs for transition of code to App Production Suprt staff, w/ biz rules, & compilation of detailed specs for handoff; & mentor Jr Devs & promote tech ldrshp in sftwr design for scalability & ease of maint. REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline [foreign degree equivalent accepted]; plus 2 yrs' exprince: implmntng sftwre app dsgn pattrns w/J2EE; wrkng WebLogic portal tech & SSO tech -i.e. RSA ClearTrust; & w/plan, config, implement, test & trbleshoot of prdct, using: AJAX, Web Srvcs, XML, Data Srvcs Layer (Hibernate, JDBC), development frmwrks (STRUTS, Spring), & SQL dbase (Oracle).
