Wonderful full-time opportunity in DC for an experienced individual with DC Medicaid billing and research. Position is in a small call center. Some of the responsibilities include:
  • Complete all duties associated with eligibility verification, coverage, and authorizations as required for outpatient procedures
  • Research and verify insurance coverage by phone and online to ensure proper coordination reimbursement of benefits and estimates of patients financial responsibilities for commercial, governmental, and third party insurances
  • Conduct benefit investigation to determine in detail specific coverage for a variety of services
  • Administer web-based review (e.g., auto-adjudication)

Job Requirements

  • 2 years' experience handling billing & reimbursements for Medicare & Medicaid recipients
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Word & Excel
  • Type 50 WPM
  • Ability to work downtown in DC
