Chief Mechanical & Design Engineer: Takoma Park, MD: Rsrch/dsgn/test/impl mech engg apps for state-of-the-art med device such as electrosurgical gen, laparoscopic robot, etc.; Dsgn 3D CAD models of mech parts using SolidWorks/Creo; Produce detailed draft of prod & assy dwgs follow Geometric Dimen & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME stndrd; Construct proto & prfrm mech & environ simulation test, incl Finite Element Analy (FEA); Cndct Prod Data Mgt (EPDM) & mge/collab on prod dvlpmnt; Provide process/equip engg suppt & resolve tech issues to mfg partners & vendors for prod transfers; Asst regulatory dept in verif/val protocals, incl IQ/OQ/PQ & ensure prods comply w/FDA/UL/ISO, & other regulations/stndrds; Dvlp & suppt GMP compliant mfg facilities, gen doc/SOPs & prfrm risk analy based on ISO qlty sys req/stndrds. Req: MS in Mech Engg or a rel field. Sound knowl of machine dsgn, materials, statics, mech vibrations & Stress (Strain); Strong Robotic/Electromech Cntrl Sys dsgn skills; Understand of GD&T per ASME stndrd; Prof in 3D Model Software (Solidworks/Creo) & FEA & CFD tools (Solidworks Simula/ANSYS).
